In case of Spain, you need visa and passport if you are international visitors. But it depends on your nationalities. If you are from Europe, you don't need visa at all but you must have authentic proof such as- passport.

If you are from non-EU, you must have visa and passport but there are some countries such as: South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Andorra, Australia, Costa Rica, Brunei, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Grenada, Israel, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Monaco, Norway, New Zealand, Poland, San Marino, Singapore, Switzerland, Slovakia and Lithuania.

If you are a visitor from any one of the above nationalities, then you don't need any visa for first 90 days. But if you wish to stay for more than 3 months, than you will need to get one through the respective authorities. If you are not the visitors from these countries, you need visas and passports to enter Spain. You have to attach various documents and papers regarding your nationalities as well as you have to mention the type of visa which you want such as- student visa, working visa, tourists visa with your visa application form.

 

Ministry for Foreign Affairs is an authentic body for visa processing in Spain. If you are also planning for Madrid trip, you have to follow the following procedures to apply for visa.

There are visa application forms available online, which you need to fill with your details, print it and sign it. You need three photocopies of the application along with original one as well as four pass port size photographs which should be attached with visa application forms.

Requires documents and papers for Spanish visa:

  1. Your original passport with the validity of at least six months.
  2. Certificate or proof of foreigner, valid visa of your country, re-entry permit or other authentic documents which support you to return your country.
  3. Proof of financial situation whether it can support during your stay or not, you must submit the bank statements of last three months.
  4. Official itinerary for your entire tour.
  5. Proof of accommodation.
  6. Proof of occupation, if you are self employed, you need to submit your business license and tax return. If you are working for any organization, you have to submit the employment letter with date and salary.
